20 August, the celebration of the founding of the State

20 August is the national holiday and official state holiday of Hungary, commemorating the foundation of the state and its founder, King Stephen I (Saint Stephen). The day is also one of the main feasts of the Hungarian Catholic Church in honour of Hungary's patron saint.
