Attention!
Starting from 28th March 2017 Georgian citizens holding biometric passports may enter the Schengen zone without C-type visa (they are visa-free) and can stay there for a maximum of 90 days in a 180-day period.
Starting from 15th August 2008 Latvia represents Hungary in processing uniform Schengen visas in Tbilisi. Accordingly, visa applications of Georgian citizens without a biometric passport and citizens of other countries who are subject to a visa requirement and who hold a valid Georgian residence permit are processed by the Embassy of Latvia. Those who wish to apply for long-term visas (exceeding 90 days) or would like to meet the Consul may visit our Embassy every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 to 13:00 (except Holidays). Applications can be submitted and the approved visas can be taken only after booking an appointment at the following website: https://konzinfoidopont.mfa.gov.hu/home.

To submit the application, the following are needed:
- completed and signed application form,
- 2 facial photos, one of them already sticked on application form,
- original of supporting documents,
- copy of supporting documents (packed separately),
- valid passport,
- copy of data page and relevant pages of passport.

Appeal:
In the case of a negative decision, the applicant has the right to appeal within 8 calendar days after receiving the decision. The appeal procedure fee is 160 EUR (509 GEL), to be paid at the time of submission.
